What this site is

Mini Widgets is published by Central Intelligence Ltd, registered in England and Wales under number 16973632. It provides free calculators: there is nothing to buy, no account to create, and no contract between us beyond these terms. "We" and "us" below mean Central Intelligence Ltd. By using the site you accept these terms.

The calculators are information, not advice

This is the important part. The tools here are built carefully and the tax figures behind them are read from HMRC and GOV.UK rather than from memory, with the tax year and the date they were checked printed on every page that uses them. Even so:

• A calculator cannot know your full circumstances. Every tool states the assumptions it makes and what it leaves out, and those exclusions matter.
• Tax rules change, sometimes mid-year, and a page may not have caught up yet.
• The results are estimates to help you think, not a statement of what you owe.

Nothing here is financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship. Before acting on a figure that matters, check it against your own records and, where the sum is significant, take advice from a qualified accountant or adviser. HMRC's own guidance is the authority on your tax position.

Accuracy and liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of error, and we do not accept liability for loss arising from relying on a figure produced here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If you do find a calculation you believe is wrong, please tell us at hello@mini-widgets.com. A reported error is a favour, and it gets fixed.

Availability

We may change, move or withdraw any tool at any time, and the site may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

Using our content

The text, design and code of this site belong to us. You are welcome to use the calculators for your own purposes, personal or commercial, and to link to any page. You may not copy the site's content wholesale, republish it as your own, or scrape it systematically.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
